  • Job Title: Car Spray Painter
  • Location: Johannesburg
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: R13,000 - R19,000 a month (depending on experience)
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years

Essential Skills

  • Color matching and mixing.
  • Surface preparation: cleaning, sanding, masking.
  • Paint application techniques: spraying, layering, blending.
  • Knowledge of different paint types and their applications.
  • Equipment usage: spray guns, air compressors.
  • Safety protocols for paint and solvent handling.
  • Finish application: polishing, buffing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for painting.
  • Mix and match colors.
  • Apply primers, base coats, and finish coats.
  • Coordinate with repair team for seamless finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Quality checks on paint finishes.
